In honor of “National Homeless Animals Day” Brookhaven Animal Sanctuary bring attention to the plight of all those animals who have become unwanted in our society. Some are homeless from being born from other stray animals, but some are homeless from neglect and abuse.
Too many are abandoned because condo associations have outdated no-pet deed restrictions. Worst of all, the many pets and animals that have been abandoned and left to die without provisions or shelter. This must not be allowed or tolerated by a civilized society.
In honor of this day, we are bringing awareness about all these animals to light. And as an apologetic effort to correct these wrongs, we are offering as many animals up for adoption on Homeless Animals Day as possible – to be available to good people, and to give them new homes and the love they deserve. We ask you all for your help and your compassion in making this day a new dawn for these animals.
